How has becoming a mother changed you? It's made me realize how imperfect I am and the ability to know that is okay.
I'm happiest when.... we have family functions at our house.
What are three things you wish you could go back and tell yourself before having children? "This is going to suck WAY more than you think it's going to but it is also worth it in so many ways. Big and small."
Fondest childhood memory: Playing on the tire swing by my house and playing in the huge sand pit with my best friends.
Your favorite "go to" family friendly recipe?
2 Jars of "Marinara" Sauce
1/2-1/4 Package of Spaghetti noodles
1/4 Pound of Spicy Italian Sausage
3/4 Pound of Italian Sausage (regular)
1 1/2 Carrots (peeled and fine diced)
1 Onion (chopped)
1 Stalk of Celery (sliced width-wise)
1 Zucchini (medium diced)
1/2 Of a Whole Garlic Bulb (fine diced)
2-4 Mushrooms (sliced w/stem removed)
1/4 Cup of red Wine
Put a large pot on the back-burner to boil. Pre-heat a large skillet then brown all the sausage (yes, skillet). When fully cooked add all of the vegetables and saute until the onions are transparent. Add the remaining sauce and wine and let reduce for about 20-40 minutes (this part super optional). Combine like usual. And ta-da, awesome spaghetti!
